Woodstock Pride and Shops on Woodstock Square Featured on WGN-TV Around Town

It’s summertime, it’s June, and that means Pride Month! Did you happen to catch members of Woodstock Pride, Material Things, and Studio D on WGN-TV's Around Town last week? Reporter Ana Belaval and her crew headed out to Woodstock to learn about Woodstock Pride and the artists who work in and around the Historic Woodstock Square.
Woodstock Pridefest will take place June 8 – 9, all across Woodstock, IL. This family-friendly event includes a Rainbow Run, Art Shows, a Parade featuring WGN-TV's Sean Lewis as the Grand Marshal on June 9th, and more fun throughout the weekend.
Ana Belaval met with Melissa McMahon, President of Woodstock Pride, along with Ken West from Material Things Artisan Market, and Wayne Read from Studio D. Her segments included the history of Pridefest in Woodstock, along with information about the artists who work behind the storefronts, right in the shops along the Woodstock Square.
